Laura brings the carved wooden shape closer into her when his lips find hers and she brings up an available hand to hold his face close. He says thank you, but really, she wants to tell him she's the one that should be showing the gratitude. It means more than she can convey, but it's in her eyes when he looks into them.

"Every time," she replies. There was no way she wouldn't ever save him if she could do it. There simply wasn't a place where she existed that he didn't either. And it's a fact that is becoming more and more clear to her everyday. Of her own accord, she steals another kiss and then glances down at palisman egg.

She holds it out to him. "Do you want to do it right now? Because I'm ready when you are."
