She did kiss back, though it wasn't with the sort of energy that she usually would if he wasn't planning on going anywhere; when she could have him selfishly all to herself. To disappear into the sheets and feel him in and around her.

As she watches him leave, she stops and takes it off for the night, leaving behind a raw and angry red band underneath it.
